I have always believed in the potential of every individual. As an immigrant, I know the challenges and barriers that professionals experience to adjust and cope with their new life in Canada. I am a witness to endless frustrations and disappointments. My work with immigrants encouraged me to strive harder to discover proven ways of creating a better life in Canada. As a certified life coach and career development professional, I am committed to providing genuine support and guidance to immigrant professionals. No talent should be wasted. I believe that learning is a lifelong process. I know that every experience that I have had contributed to who I am today. Every person that I have met has a role in my life. I value relationships, I don't give up easily and I love working with people. All these have equipped me as I navigate life in Canada.
The truth is we fail to prepare our minds in moving to a new country and we fear change and failure. People refuse to get out of their comfort zone. I live my dream with the people I love. My courage comes from strong relationships with authentic and honest people. I have an incredibly supportive husband and two talented children who have grown to be committed artists in the City of Calgary. My journey was not easy, wrong decisions, fear of the unknown, financial challenges, so on. I have been there. I never gave up. I kept the faith.
I believe that every human being is unique and understanding behavior allows us to appreciate an individual better. My lifelong goal is to be able to make a difference in the lives of the people I meet. Early in life, one of the bravest things I have done was travel alone for work. Today, I continue to travel, and this has taught me great things. Exploration and risk taking can be scary, but what I learned was that it can lead to fantastic discoveries about oneself, values, other people, and culture.
